Allison S. Liu, Ph.D.
I am a postdoctoral scholar in the MAPLE Lab (PI: Dr. Erin Ottmar) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I aim to inform the design of effective and engaging educational technologies through three primary lines of research: 1) uncovering the cognitive and affective factors that influence STEM learning and motivation across the lifespan; 2) investigating how learner characteristics and design features influence how learners interact with their learning environments; and 3) evaluating whether interventions significantly impact STEM learning and motivation.
